Adult Day Health: Caregiver Support

Caregivers deserve support, too. LIFE’s Adult Day Health program offers a full range of caregiver resources designed to provide relief, education, and peace of mind. From professional care for your loved one during the day to guidance, connection, and encouragement for you, our team is here to walk beside you every step of the caregiving journey.

Find Strength in Community: LIFE's Caregiver Support Groups

LIFE’s welcoming Caregiver Support Groups connect you with other caregivers who are experiencing similar situations and challenges. Each one-hour meeting provides a confidential space for you to talk, listen, learn and support one another. Free respite care for loved ones is available during the support groups through LIFE’s Adult Day Health program. Call the Family Assistance Coordinator (FAC) at the location of your choice the week before your support group to make a reservation for your loved one.

Caregiver Support Group at North/Pine meets the second Thursday of the month, 6-7 p.m. Address: 902 E. Pine St., (918) 664-9000, ext. 1323. In partnership with Alzheimer’s Diversity Outreach Organization.

Caregiver Support Group at Roma Berry Center for Seniors meets the third Tuesday of the month, 5:30-6:30 p.m., Address: 4821 S. 72nd E. Ave., (918) 664-9000, ext. 1472

Broken Arrow Caregiver Support Group meets the last Thursday of the month, 1:30-2:30 p.m., Address: 3102 S. Juniper Ave. • Second floor of Vandever House, (918) 664-9000, ext. 1137 

Men’s Caregiver Support Group: This is a supportive network of men ready and willing to help others like them through shared life experiences. The group meets the 3rd Wednesday of every month at 2:00 p.m. at LIFE’s Central location, 5950 East 31st St. For more information, call Donna Mancini, LIFE’s Caregiver Support Specialist at (918) 664-9000, ext. 1137.

Caregiver Resource Libraries are located at each of the Centers. Caregivers are welcome to sign out any materials that are helpful to them.

LIFE’s Resource Counseling program offers education about age-related issues. LIFE’s caring and trained professionals assist caregivers with all of the resources they need.
