Free Tax Counseling, Tax Preparation and Electronic Filing

LIFE's Tax Assistance Program (TAP) offers free tax services to individuals who are 60 years or older and have a total household income of $69,000 or less. From February 2, 2026 until April 14, 2026, our trained and IRS-certified volunteers will be available to assist with basic income tax preparation and filing. LIFE Senior Services is the only IRS-certified Tax Counseling for the Elderly site in Oklahoma.

Our IRS-certified TAP volunteers can assist with most basic returns, including:

• IRA distributions

• Pension Income

• Dividends

• Simple capital gains/losses

• Gambling winnings

• Sale of a home

  We are not able to prepare returns that include rental properties, more than 10 stock or mutual fund sales, farm operations, oil and gas royalties, or asset distribution. When you call to schedule, our team will verify that your return qualifies and check your eligibility for the Oklahoma Sales Tax Refund.
