Tax Assistance Program
LIFE's Tax Assistance Program (TAP) offers free tax services to individuals who are 60 years or older and have a total household income of $60,000 or less. From February 6, 2023 until April 15, 2023, our trained and IRS-certified volunteers will be available to assist with basic income tax preparation and filing. A Free Way to File Your Taxes
MyFree Taxes offers easy, safe and 100% free federal and state tax preparation and electronic filing, through TaxSlayer software. You qualify for this online option if your household income was $73,000 or less in 2022. MyFreeTaxes gives working individuals and families with low-to-moderate income access to free tax preparation and filing assistance services online anywhere there is Internet access.
