Give 5: Matching Passions to Purpose
Are you looking for a meaningful way to volunteer your time? Do you have skills and passions that can help Tulsa become a better place to live, work, and play? Give 5 is for you!
Give 5 is an innovative "civic match-making" program designed to connect Tulsa area residents aged 55 or better with meaningful volunteer opportunities. Participants learn about the most challenging problems facing the community and uncover ways their skills and passions can be utilized to help make a difference. Throughout the community, Give 5'ers are helping out in a variety of social impact areas, from education to health care to housing and more.
Be a part of Give 5! The upcoming Give 5 cohort consists of five separate class days. The next cohort begins on April 17, 2024. Classes meet from 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. at Roma Berry Center for Seniors. In the mornings, participants have the opportunity to gain a better understanding of Tulsa's challenges. Following a provided lunch, participants are given a behind-the-scenes tour of a variety of nonprofit organizations working to address those issues.
